Seems pretty obvious to everyone that his continued abuse of players extended to racist abuse. How bad was it that the players stopped in shock and the referee had to get involved.
Let's hope one man isn't allowed to drag the name of Altrincham Football Club through the mud.

To be fair if a fan needs his own personal steward then somebody somewhere should realise there is a problem. The board need to make a stand and ban him immediately otherwise the proud name of Altrincham FC will be ruined.

I do know what was said and I won't repeat it on here. What I will say though is that this is a social problem and not a football problem. It shames me that fellow humans can be so ignorant and it would be a crying shame if the good name of Alty FC should be associated with such nonsense.

When I got to the bus station after the game Dennis was mouthing off at the driver of the 370 who was trying to tell a bloke which bus he needed to catch to Cheadle. Good job he was white otherwise Dennis might have continued with his racist comments

Ive never known a ref run across the pitch and ask a steward to sort something out
If what is reported to been have said, is true then a lifetime ban should be in place
If he spents £8 to get in, and a futher £5 inside.... thats £13
im sure plenty of people would give to make up the £13 (or whatever he spends) that would be lost by banning him.

If it was racial abuse, then the bugger needs to be banned. In fact, he should be band anyway. His rants are counter productive and for him to result to racial abuse is shameful. The stupid sod doesn't just humiliate himself, but also puts Alty in danger of having a bad rep for his kind of senseless, pathetic, sh*tty comments.

Ban Dennis and while we're at it, ban Dave Birch as well. I'm willing to bet that people have decided against coming back to the club in the past because of their offensive and racist behaviour. Dave Birch was ejected from Tamworth a few years ago for being racist. It's time we banned them both permanantly, we don't want people like this at our club.

The fact I could hear his foul mouth all the way at the end ot the Pop Side makes it even worse. His abuse has been so blatant and loud all season it's unbelievable nothing has been done until now!

Bizarrely when he has his own steward in attendance he doesn't actually ever say anything and on some other occasions over time when it has been alleged that he has transgressed nobody has actually reported it or been willing to give evidence. Today however fortunately a number of people have indicated their willingness to testify as to his misdeeds

Its sad its taken an incident like this for things to come to a head with this individual. I wonder was he told why and did he understand why he was being ejected? Was there any conversation with the stewards who had to eject him? If it was bad enough to be ejected it was probably racial, which is not the sort of action we as a club want to be connected with. If it was racial I feel the club only have 1 option now and that is to ban him for life. Last weekend a player nearly lost his life (get well soon Fabrice) playing this game. There is no place for racism of any kind in this world or our club. Please dont come back Dennis. You pay your money and have the ability to have a say to a certain extent on proceedings, but NOT LIKE THIS - THIS IS JUST WRONG AND THATS IT.

It is true. I speak of the times when complaints have been made by opposition supporters or players. Nobody has 'heard anything'
I would refer you to the time when I personally had to physically remove him from Tamworth. Only the Tamworth Steward heard what both him and his brother shouted

You may be confusing this with the occasion last season when both Distance Traveller and myself complained about his brother, and the club didn't respond to our concerns. Not sure whether Dennis has been the subject of formal complaints before. I actually talked a copper out of nicking him at Forest Green a few seasons ago when he threw a plastic cup at the referee's assistant, and he calmed down for the rest of that particular match.
I still think his brother is the bigger problem, but he's not been around lately thank goodness.

Is Dennis banned from away grounds or is it just Moss Lane ?
If not, i suspect he will still go the away games which could be a problem although i guess he would be banned from using the
away travel coaches.
Perhaps the FA should be informed so he gets banned from ALL grounds if that has not already happened although i think you have to have
been convicted of something for the ALL grounds ban comes into force.

Having been stood three persons from Dennis, there was no doubt that, after abusing an alty fan behind him he then vented his anger on not only half of the Solihull team but then to RACIALLY ABUSE the Solihull number 7. He must not be allowed to do that ever again. He has dragged Alty's good name down to a place it does not deserve. Ban him permanantly.

Apologies Phil, taxi Phil has cleared that one up for me. I still find it hard to believe that nobody would be prepared to speak against either brother though. It's far from the first time their behaviour has been discussed on here.
Anyway, if they have been banned then the matter can be put to bed. Ignorance is never an excuse for abuse.

It's ironic that this should have happened yesterday, as we had a discussion after the Solihull away game on Dennis's behaviour. At the away game he nearly started a one man riot when he went verbals with a Moors fan.
It's a shame his volumus voice and energy couldn't have been harnessed for the good of Alty, as his passion for and knowledge of Alty seems quite high. And I'd noticed that he seems very reasonable and calm before the matches.
There is no room for racism in the modern world, so his exclusion is obviously correct.

Some years ago at Bradford Park Avenue he ranted and raved at all and sundry and I was most surprised that some of the locals did not give him a good thumping.
He had the potential for causing trouble and on that basis should have been banned. Had that happenned there would have been no racist abuse to bring the club a bad name on Saturday
These things should be nipped in the bud.
