Post by: Number23 on January 29, 2012, 06:02:07 PM
So Ryan Shotton will be able to tell his team mates what it's like to play at Crawley and win :

I wouldn't put money on that one ! They're perfectly capable of at least earning a replay (I'm sorry to say).

At least its a home tie so they wont get a bumper pay day from gate receipts.
However one of the TV station will be probably show it.

They keep getting the money, paid for the team or not they have some good cup runs, we get dumped out in the qualifiers.

But I hate Crawley and Evans with a passion, just not as much of a passion as Macc.

Tubbs has now signed for Bournemouth. Case of him wanting to move up and they couldn't hold him back? And does this mean they can recall Brodie back from Fleetwood? I was under the impression Fleetwood had paid for him to be on loan until the end of the season.

Not that much of a step up though is it, I mean Bournemouth? They'll both be in League 1 next season and I know which ones got more money.

Also, didn't he play for Bournemouth a year or two back and not quite cut the mustard.

I hate him anyway, he's another full on pest who you add to the Marna/Madjo/Alford list!

Aye, things are pretty slow at work today so just looked our cup record since the start of this century, back to work Jesus  :(

Perhaps we had it too good in the 80's

Having been gifted the use of a season ticket, I shall be at Old Trafford tomorrow, as I suspect will a certain fat loud-mouthed brain dead Scotsman.

Hoping to see Ryan put in an appearance at some point.

I believe that Crawley need to ship some players out for financial reasons. The football league have a rule (which I think is brilliant if enforced properly) that they can only have a wage bill equal to a percentage of their gate fees. Susan carter did her "do this town not want a football league club" piece late last year

I would be surprised if the manager of the home team wasn't there in all fairness!   ;)  :)

Is this a crawley forum?

No its just a thread about a team we used to play and who a number of people don't like.

Don't read it if you don't want.

Just to chip in I also detest everything Crawley have done in the last five years.

It'll all crash down soon enough but for now its rather galling to see them living the high life on "far eastern investment"

There are indeed mate but few are lead by someone like Evans.

Each to their own.

I'm not overly fussed by them spending money or Evans being a horrible fat crooked T**t. It is a bit galling though the way they've completely airbrushed their previous dubious history out of the way.

Still, I'm not a local Crawley business that got screwed over and then watched them suddenly find millions down the back of the sofa so it doesn't really matter that much tbh.
