The Vics are set to be deducted 3 points for an administrative error when signing Tom Field. Apparently it was putting down his nationality as British instead of English. ;D

Clearly a silly error but you would have thought the FA would automatically pick things like this up. If it happened to us we would be very pissed off.
But things just keep happening at vics it appears, in this case seems very harsh if they are deducted points.

Under EU regulations, the Nationality is British. One's passport is British ! If anyone's wrong here it sure as Hell ain't the Green Slime (first time for everything).

I suppose FIFA/UEFA do not recognise Britain as it is split up into the respective FA's of it's constituant nations. However, I still find it ridiculous that they could be deducted points for this.

It has nothing to do with putting English or British on the form that is the usual Bull that their Chairman has told the gullible. when two forms are sent in with completley different details on then it raises suspision, when the signitures are completed different it raises suspision when two completly different mothers maiden names are put on the forms it raises suspision, when the same whitness signs both forms form 2 different locations it raises suspision so it could be the league think one of the forms was not actually completed by the player...... allegedly
