The officers, players, supporters and staff of the Kendal Town Association Football Club should be thankful and grateful that they were not tied against clubs from the southern part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Specifically these are named as Truro City Football Club, Gloucester City Football Club and (somewhat oddly) AFC Bournemouth.
The reasons for such happiness in the office and boardroom of the Kendal Town Association Football Club is based upon the distances between them and the southern towns and cities mentioned above. Such long distances are very expensive and unless overnight accommodation is arranged the playing squad would arrive for the fixture tired and somewhat fatigued by the journey, to the extent where their performance in unlikely to gain a positive result.
Hope that clarifies things now.

Thanks

I got that bit but as all those teams (including Gloucester) are in the southern section of the draw and Kendal are in the northern section it wasn't very likely that they'd get drawn together was it?
