I can't get over the REM tribute band... nothing says family fun like a rousing chorus of "Everybody Hurts"...

The latest album is quite aptly etitled "Collapse Into Now". Couldn't they get a Rush(e) tribute band ? Though come to think of it, nobody would want to pay HIM a tribute :D
-
I vote that we all order these free picnic packs and then just don't turn up. ;D
-
Will the tribute band only get paid 40% of their fee?

I think in theory it's a good idea...

Ha ha, I do love your entusiasm JJ, but having a mass picnic to the strains of REM and trampling prawn sandwiches into your playing surface is not, IMO a good idea... ;)

Shame, I'd have paid good money for a Rush(e) tribute band. I can even see their setlist:
One Little Victory
Nobody's Hero
Neurotica
Losing It
Fly By Night
Something for Nothing
Grand Designs
Tears
Ghost of a Chance
and, of course, Malignant Narcissism
Avid Rush(e) fans will note a distinct lack of Grace Under Pressure

Northwich have an excellent chef to provide the hampers......Doh!
