In fairness he normally just sits on the buttons!

I managed to ring the lift alarm at Primark in Irvine this morning - apparently with my right buttock as I leant against the control panel!

Arse control to major Tom.....

My other half thought she was getting random stalker txts, txt messages appearing at all times of day and night with just random letters in and she ended up phoning the guards (police) who said there wasn't much they could do.....turned out it was an old guy down the local pub who'd been sending them without even realising, the mobile being in the arse pocket of his trousers. He was down the pub one night complaining that his mobile phone credit was running down and he was hardly using the phone...checked the number and voila, the buttock monkey was unearthed (other half's name is Anne & she was first in his contact list.....still no mean feat)

Good thing is we are looking at draws becoming wins, rather than just a point from anywhere

I reckon the last 3 games would have been defeats a few weeks back. It's 3 points gained in the last week and I hope we can now pick up a few wins to really start climbing the table.

4 games without defeat is an important statistic. It was imperative that we broke the losing habit and we seem to have done that for now.

I'm confident that King Kenny will lead us to safety!

Chesterfield 5-5 Crewe FT -  Chesterfield comeback better than Alty's or Preston's

Post by: ant on October 02, 2010, 05:36:25 PM
Just back.  It's a game we should have won but for two throw aways from Robbie and Joseph.  Nevertheless at least we didn't go away completely empty handed which would have been a tragedy.  Matt Crowell looked totally shot today and I just hope he finds the form that made him look so good in his first spell at Alty.  Provided we can stop making these silly little mistakes we should be well capable of stringing some wins together and lifting out of the bottom 3/4.

Talking of the Beeb they gave Alty just 37% of possession in the second half which was a load of bollocks.

ant, possession stats can often appear odd but 37 could be about right. We barely touched the ball for about 70 minutes of that game. If you think we deserved a draw today mate you're talking out of your arse. Got a bit of luck today after a lot of hard work on Tuesday.

Ballers mate, what game were you watching?  We weren't the best but we were well worth the draw and we weren't exactly battered.  Don't give me all this talking out of your arse sh*t pal. Argue the opinion but keep the insults to yourself or say it to my face at the match.

How can that come back to bite us ? I haven't said we will defo stay up ? I haven't said they will defo stay down?, I am just making a point that I have been reading and hearing that Alty wouldn't win a game \ get any points and 100% be going down. We have started picking up points and looking better so therefore we are starting to move in the right direction whilst Vics 100% promotion looks a little different, despite me expecting them to win that league.

Maybe for the first time in a long time I am enjoying supporting Alty as opposed to finding it being something for people to poke fun at me for...  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

we deserved a draw....we scored 2 good well crafted goals, their goals were absolutly gifted to them...they may have had 63% it sounds about right but in truth I can't remember many heart stopping moments or clear cut chances for R&D...can't remember coates making many saves to be honest, we held 'em well at bay and when we got it had a lightning break ourselves.....good tactics by the gaffer ken.

Last year we'd have won that 2-0.....but r&D would still have had 67% possesion.

They totally dominated the midfield today, thats what made it a bit slow seeming, they are about the same in quality as us midtable this year for them and more promising signs for us.

In the meantime, more random nonsense from the BBC:

"....Williams' low shot ensured the draw...."

yep, funny shot is a back post header. ::)

"He's got a head like a traction engine"! :D
