Sometimes that's what they do right til kickoff, then change for online listeners at about five minutes to kickoff.

I agree several signing are not good enough and Heathcote signed them, so he is guilty.

But it's fekking obvious to every one whose been to ML that Josephs worse than Welsh and Holmes, apart from our standin manager.

Only Gh and KM think Marc Joseph is good enough for this level of football. I had hoped that kenny could ship out the worst of our sh*te and bring in one or two loan players this week, but absolutely nothing has happened. As mentioned earlier, some of "the worst of our sh*te" were awarded contracts by our recently departed manager, alas.

It won't be easy to dispose of them.

How do you  lift them and get confidence back?

Without wishing to state the obvious, we need to win a game. A scruffy, dull 1-0 deflected OG off someone's backside will suffice.

Mckenna out

Behave!

As has been said enough times today it was never gonna be an overnight turnaround particularly given what Ken was left to play with.

What needs to be considered is that given our current financial position Ken will have to ship out before he can bring in and can you see anyone taking Joseph, Twiss or Crowell?

He may een have to ship out anyway without being able to replace

You arrange a closed door friendly against a team of 9 year olds.
You mean play Weymouth?

Greg and Chris have both scored.
I don't think I could be any more depressed. Don't want to criticise Ken, but I think a fresh pair of eyes is needed, complete change of management. Hands up who had money on us today.

What's with all the negativity from all you GH haters - it was never gonna change overnight !!!

Never was a GH hater, but when you have lost the will for the battle (self-confessed) it is time to go.

Also, don't understand how people thought things were going to change overnight.

It's all very sad and I'm currently off the sauce so I can't even go and drown my sorrows

It is exactly at times like this that you SHOULD be there. It's what supporting your club is about. I've seen us through some pretty bad spells in the last 57 years, but I don't think I've ever felt as depressed so early in a season as I do right now. But I'll be there, I'll be trying to encourage the lads - and God knows we need it it from EACH AND EVERY ONE of you ! ! !

Totally disagree, Wiliams played well with both Smith & Young last year and in my opinion had a good season! 1 Handball and now you thing he's not good enough! (Name anyone from 16 at the moment). The Welsh FA also think he can play a bit as well...

I think we as supporters need to get behind the players, not come on here saying how C**p you think they are. Too many armchair, keyboards supporters who go to a handfull of games a season and also have plenty to say without really having a clue.

Long drive home tonight (how many of you went?) and I can tell you Williams was one of the better Alty players on the pitch today!

Can't kid a kidder! Didn't think anyone would notice, just having a play as I've not been doing this long ;D...but on a serious note, too many folk come on this forum and have a pop at the manager, individual player or the team as a whole, instead of getting behind them.

It's got to get better, it just takes time I suppose, the loss of Youngy & Senior, plus the injuries doesn't suddenly make the rest of the team bad players.. or does it, you tell me?

We dont all come and have a pop, when the team is doing well we have nothing but praise thus when it is going badly they must expect some criticism, i don't care if people dont seem to be getting behind the team on the forum, a lot of people got behind the team by turning up at eastbourne today and they were ultimately let down thats what really matters, i will talk about how poorly we are doing till tuesday 7.45 then for 90 minutes i will do nothing but cheer on the lads, then come approx half 9 we will see whether everyone has praise or are coming on having a pop again.

Firstly just to say thanks for listening, to those Alty fans who found their way to the BBC Sussex commentary. Bit cheeky of us to piggy-back on your forum but just trying to keep in touch with the Alty perspective as well as our own.   It was my colleague Andrew Raeburn on the mic yesterday, not me, but we both decided when we came up to Conference National that we would try to keep it reasonably neutral, since there are always a lot of away fans unable to travel.  Nothing worse than hearing a one-sided commentary crowing away and ignoring the away team.

Secondly sorry to see the club in a state of err, flux, and really hope things get back on track for you.  There's a bit of affinity between us "small-scale" clubs, I think.

Best wishes
