League Position

I often find goal difference an indicator of final league positions; there are 7 teams with a worse goal difference

More reasons to be cheerful:
1) Tamworth will have at least one more extra fixture in which bookings might be picked up or injuries might occur. Furthermore, their players already have two extra league games to catch up on so you can bet your bottom dollar they will be affected badly by tiredness.
2) We already have an extra 9 points in the bank. Would rather have the points than games in hand any day.
3) Given the choice I would rather have three points in the league game at their place. The Trophy is a great competition but our priority MUST be the league.
4) We have been in the bottom 4 once all season.
We've been here before and have the quality to stay in this league. All efforts can now be 100% focussed on Conference survival.

Quite right.
I've been to a couple of away games with Leeds and Leicester fans. Both of them remarked on the never say die attitude, the 100% effort, The One Alty...everything in fact that Leeds in particular haven't got.
And of course we have athe fantastic fans - ok Oxford have got a few thousand more but we make noise home and away.
We need a couple of away wins, especially against teams below us to make a real push towards safety.
