The issue I think is creativity.  Last season watmore could create a chance from nothing.  This year only clee has this ability.

To be fair didn't he try and sign nicky boshell who would've been good enough but bpa blew us out of the water if you lose dunc at this level like losing 3 class players

I heard that we DIDN'T try and sign Nicky Boshell, but that we were very close to signing Joe Mwasile from Morecambe before Jack Redshaw got injured. Clearly, this is an area which needs addressing, as Nicky Clee no longer plays for 90 mins. Scot and Luca make a great team at the back, they just need a decent holding midfielder in front of them to protect them - a Carl Rodgers-like player, that is not Carl Rodgers!

Plus his goal against Stockport broke the deadlock in that game. So four of his five goals so far have been in some sense important.

Wasnt the point I was making. Im referring to goals which were something out of nothing, like Watmores goal v Corby.

Walshaw popped up against the likes of Solihull / Histon etc for Guiseley and got points for them. He has yet to do this for us bar one game.

maybe if he was selected every game , he would get your wonder goals you nobhead. and if he got some service upfront , instead of the wayward crosses that are happening at the moment.
