Really? I didn't think that it worked that way, or thought it hadn't done in the past.

In the past - when we were in BSBPremier - County Cup didn't count as a 1st XI fixture. Now we're in BSBNorth it does. Don't ask me why!

Err..........because we are at a lower playing level in the pyramid, where the powers that be think we are at a level where we may rejoice in winning the competition and hence take it very seriously and see Danny Hall missing the game as major blow  :(

For example when we played in the final vs Nantwich at Witton (the first one that took til midnight to complete courtesy of Ryan Shotton), Nantwich had hundreds of kids there with facepaint, big foam hands and green wigs. Winning meant a lot to them at the time and I guess it was equivalent to a first team game to them
