I tell you what, I've heard enough of Workington for an entire season!

Yes, fair play to Barrow and from a point of view of entertainment it sounded like exactly what we've all been wanting for a long time. We just need to cut out the silly mistakes because it's obvious that we are going to score plenty of goals.

Quote of the season so far from the muppet at the Workington game

"Well no goals at Workington - Harrogate tonight but equally exciting"  what complete and utter arse gravy

Hopefully bring the crowds in.

Very early days, but this should have been a win and by the sounds of the it we missed 2-3 sitters as well. If we could defend we could have won and I hope this isn't 3 points - or even 1 point - we rue come end of the season.

A win against Kettering and I think we'll all be happy with 6 points from 9. But we can't have home form like last season.

Kettering still unbeaten and must be licking their hands after hearing we leaked in 4 at home.
Kettering are also a better team than Barrow

Any news where Ryan Shotton is ?

Sounds like Senior's chance came to him too quickly after coming on??

What is this statement based on? Last season's positions are irrelevant.

Not really it was tight angle to be honest.

Whilst i am gutted at losing I feel we will meet many teams of a lower calibre than Barrow this season.

I wouldnt even say end of the season we may rue the points. I think Barrow deserved to win on the balance of play but our defending looked aweful although it was at the other end of the pitch from me.

Barrow looked knackered at the end, and we ripped them apart to be honest but silly mistakes for us cost us.

Also feel the referee did us no favours, Barrow roughed us up and took our sting out and the ref did nothing. We should have had a penalty first half for sure and if we had the free kick we deserved Barrow would not have scored the first.

Well done Barrow you will take some beating if you can keep it up all season, which I don't think you will to be honest.

Lets hope we can turn Kettering over and we will be happy again on Saturday.

Exciting but frustrating.
Hearing of the way we beat Woking I thought this year would be different from last year, but no. The defence are stil making too many errors.
It was good to see Denham working very well down the right wing. He will be dangerous.
Johnson did well but he is probably not 100% fit judging from his performance tonight.
We had many chances and took some of them which is good. the more chances the more likely it is that you will get a few goals.

Barrow will need to tighten up their defence. Two of our goals and some of our chances came because they missed the ball and they had a few panic moments but on the 90 minutes they looked the more dangerous in the box than we did and Walker took his chances very well.

So much for all of those who reckoned we would get 3 points from them tonight!
(see my thread on the next five games!)

fair play barrow brought a good following sung despite being piss wet through n all their players showed a lot of passion and never stopped running but nevertheless we still should have won as we had the more quality players but if u don't defend this is what happens.
