Full England Internationals
« on: March 02, 2016, 06:17:23 PM »

Whilst we wait for the 'Cheshire Derby' on Saturday:

I was asked to name any full England internationals who have played for Alty.  I thought of Tommy Banks and Alex Stepney.  Any others?

Ernie Taylor and Albert Quixall....

Quixall
Rix
Dixon L
Dixon K
Le Soux

England players with an 'x'

Anyone for three England strikers with three 'O' in their surname or the only player to score a penalty barefoot in a cup final

That is on par with the question, Which former England international footballer later became a citizen of another country and represented that country at another sport?

Ah yes, Duxbury - forgot him
As for Le Soux, he did tend to do a war dance from time to time
