That's a huge loss, especially if the reports are saying that he's going to be absent for 'some time'.

Going to be hard to dip into the loan market before Boxing Day.

Lewis Banks did OK at left back but George Wilson didn't look comfortable at right back - and I'm going to assume he'll be needed in midfield for the next one.

We do have two other 'natural' left backs on the books:

- Liam Brockbank (who was on the bench yesterday)
- Sean Lawton (who is dual registered with Nantwich)

Can either of them step up?
