Talking of fa cup....is tomorrow the day to banish those memories of 1999!! If I'm correct,had we won the qualifier and beat myther and Chester,we would had got city in the 3rd round?

They certainly were - there is an account of this game by Len Pollitt in an Alty programme of the late 70s, 76/77 season I think

the 2nd game was my first ever alty game,it was a mid week match,played in the afternoon
