Title: Target 300
Post by: GrahameRowley on February 07, 2011, 12:53:25 PM
With the club losing another home game on Saturday due to the waterlogged pitch we are appealing to as many supporters as possible to rally round and attend our Cheshire Senior Cup semi-final against Alsager Town on Tuesday night. Our attendance against Hyde was 221 - lets target a figure of 300 for the semi. I know that people aren't too enthusiastic about Cheshire Senior Cup games but the club needs your support - Please help.

The Shrewsbury two will hopefully be there

Can anybody confirm that the game is definitely on and that the Warthogs have been chased off the pitch...

Its a long way to come for a postponement

Fair do's to Darren he does text me if there is any last minute hiccups

Cheers
Ray

No rain here today mate and very strong winds.

I think the problem Saturday was the fact that the water had no-where to drain to as everywhere was flooded.

As you know, our pitch drains brilliantly these days so to see it like that was odd..

The pitch looked water free at 2 pm today

Pitch is fine at the moment, the drainage worked well.

Think the wind from this morning would have blown all the water to Shrewsbury. Very tedious weather today.

Frankly, a reduced entrance fee of £10.00 is still too excessive for this fixture.

See you there.

GREET GREG
Although he is ineligible for Tuesday night's CSC game with Alsager Town at Moss Lane, Greg Young will be there to see the match and will be formally welcomed back to the club by chairman Grahame Rowley on the pitch. So make sure you don't miss Greg's return and give your self the opportunity to have a word with Alty's new loan signing (see below) - whilst helping the team try to win through to the Final of the Cheshire Senior Cup
Admission prices are just £10 for adults, £5 for concessionaries and £2 for under=16s.

I hope he remembers that Cheshire Cup games have few people and no singing otherwise he'll think we have gone right on our arse!

I think it's 1/3 after expenses are deducted.

Despite my views on this competition I really wish I could go tomorrow night!

Whilst we're on the subject of the club needing money...

Anyone who's going tomorrow it'd be much appreciated if you could buy another raffle ticket, we've sold £840 worth and are looking to get up to at least £1,000.

I know many of you have been more than generous so if everyone could buy one rather than the same people having to delve into their pockets again it'd help.

Have you tried borrowing £10 from your new business partner...?

Or, like the Queen, does he still not carry any money on him?

Ecky,

Get Mister Flynn to enlighten you about his 'performance' in The King George after last week's Alty FC AGM.

Frankly, a dazzling display of reasons why he didn't have any money on him that even Jim Rushe himself would have been proud of....!

Whilst you're questioning him about his King George performance ask him if he's got the money for the pint of cravendale he scavved off me after the Hayes match at near midnight yet.

In fact Ecky have you actually researched your new business partner at companies house?  :D

You may find a host of failed or dissolved companies, Tiddles Consultancy Services, Bagpuss Piping Ltd, Snowy Furniture Removals...

Well said, Ballers.

I know quite a few disgruntled investors who lost money in Brian Flynn's ill-fated Mister Jinks Marina Developments (Northwich) (2005) Ltd. project....

Why does Flynnie have a reputation as a cheapskate? My first ever interaction with him was him lending me a tenner!

I've paid the money back but will I have another, more terrible, cost to pay?  ???

Just to redress the balance (and fend off his rabid solicitors), I would like to point out that the unfairly-maligned Mister Flynn bought me a pint of Guinness at Moss Lane last evening.

Let it be known that he's never been known to miss buying a round of drinks when Alty have just won 12-1 at home....
