We've got the tallest set of defenders I can ever remember, yet we repeatedly fail to deal with high balls into our box. That really needs addressing in training as a priority.

God knows if the pens were pens or the offsides were offsides but we probably got what we deserved for defending too deep and aimless punts forward to nobody. It's happening too often to be mere bad luck.

Also, why do officials keep adding on a minute to the added time when we are playing?

There was an injury (Wilson I think) just as the board went up, so there would have to be an extra added minute for that.

....Redredrobin is 5-2 favourite with Paddy Power in the 4 o'clock at Chepstow this afternoon.

3rd in a 7 runner race. Not good.
Still a playoff place.

Barely a top half finish 😂

If you erected a stand near the turnstiles it would be a difficult task for standing visiting supporters to access their area, and a potential hazard if there was a need to evacuate the ground in an emergency. The only viable solution is to make the whole Chequers End a seated area, and one suspects that the costs involved render that solution beyond our reach for some time to come.

While there are plenty of plaudits quite rightly flying around on this thread, I'd like to give a shout-out to Lewis Banks who was excellent yesterday, particularly in the way that he made himself available to receive the ball in areas where he could move it on to colleagues effectively.

The one he scored against City in a friendly stands out. Nic Seller described as "throwing an apple through a letterbox from 35 yards".

Banks is definitely a sensible option to cut out the threat presented by Ryan Colclough.

Apparently have signed a forward "Berry" from some nondescript lower league club

Would that perchance be the nondescript lower league club that got trounced 3-0 at Lancaster last night ? 🤣🤣🤣

No matter how much we expected this eventually, it still comes as a shock that Mad Dog has finally succumbed to this dreadful disease. We use the words "hero" and "legend" so freely these days, but if ever a man truly deserved both accolades, Mark Alfred Maddox was that man. My thoughts are with his family.

Not as tough as many of us think, and we're certainly capable of at least retaining our reputation as the League's draw specialists.

13 goals in 4 games may just have been a factor in his decision.

If Wrexham should be seeking a goalkeeper with experience of playing at a fairly high level (at least by Welsh standards), I think I know where they can find one....

I thought Osborne was excellent in the first half, but, once we allowed Boreham Wood to bully us into playing so deep that I expected Jacques Cousteau to appear in our penalty area, he became less effective and eventually gave away a free kick in a dangerous position. Fortunately it was wasted.

At half time I fancied us to win. By the hour mark I feared we would lose.

The tendency to substitute Linney puzzles me. He didn't look to be injured, and his performance levels looked OK. Instead we got Angus who is basically underwhelming.

CCC had the worst game I can remember seeing from him - even the "assist" to the goal was miscued. Hopefully it was a one-off.

If you'd told me we'd be unbeaten after 4 games, I'd probably have questioned your sanity - but there are still things that need fixing.

Sack the board if we don't get 9 points

Negative attitude. We should be getting 10 points from these games. Anything less and I think jobs are on the line.
you need to raise the bar I want 12 points . If we don't get it the lot can go for me from the turnstyle operators to the management

I'm going to put you forward for senior turnstile operator when the revolution comes comrade!
