On the plus side Barnsley have just taken the lead at Anfield.

Phil Thomson is going to cry!

Sh*te, ahh well plenty more games to go at....twitchy, twitchy, twitchy

Barnsley at Anfield is fantastic news, but it comes nowhere close to making up for us losing and Farsley winning 3-0.

Why oh why was Tom Cahill replaced by a winger? We will not stay up if we show that level of ambition. Who knows, we may have lost anyway, but we should at least be giving ourselves half a chance.

Bad day for Alty all round :(  However, the Liverpool game was on live here and you should have seen the Barnsley winner and celebration...priceless stuff!  Small consolation I suppose.

I can only guess a lack of match fitness took its toll.

We are still ahead of Farsley and seemed to have the better of the 2nd half. Can prob write Farsley's result off as just "One of those games"

I know possession does not win games, but we had 54% which is a change and we have hardened up as we seem to be getting stuck in more

What a truly miserable afternoon.

Farsley win and now have a better goal difference than us, too.

Our continuing lack of potent attacking options is a major worry.
