Title: Who on earth let the dog in?!?!
Post by: bumble on August 29, 2011, 05:25:47 PM
I'm sorry but unless that was an off duty guide dog, it should not be allowed in a football ground!

:) Funny ;D

I have two Staffordshire Bull Terriors and four Pup's.

I'm an experienced breeder now.

If you know anybody that wants a cool dog.

May seem a daft question but why shouldn't it be allowed? It was on a lead and was never going to invade the pitch and pinch the ball, it seemed quite placid so wasn't gonna bite anyone

Can you shed some light on your anti canine stance?

If it'd paid to get it, and bought a golden goal then I have no problem ;)

On a serious note though I love dogs, and if I hadn't had a rabbit that lived for 15 year I'd have got one. He was better behaved than quite a few fans over the years have Been, and caused no problem. I just don't think dogs should be allowed in stadiums (exception of guide and police dogs)

But surely we want to be as professional as possible and not Tinpot?

(that dog was cute, although rumour has it he'll be a steward at Hyde next week...)

It might be the only way some poor sod can get to the match.

"Just taking the dog for a nice long walk love, be a couple of hours"..............

Give the dog a trial, see if it can play central defence

So long as the owner sings from the (B)Abba song sheet:

Pooper scooper, toxicara blinds me
But I won't feel blue,
If you always scoop,
There's no place in the crowd for poo.....

I know the word "tinpot" is banned but when the away fans bring a dog, the ref can't count to ten even with 100 people giving him a lift with the higher numbers and we have 9 year olds in felt tipped bibs at Hyde it tests your resolve a bit  ;)

I have an image of Jeff Forshaw wearing a saddle and regular stewards enquiries for excessive use of the whip as his lumbering arse is left in tatters
