13:00       Manchester Sports
Coverage of the day's Premier League action with Jimmy Wagg, including Bolton v Portsmouth and Sunderland v Wigan.

Other conference teams have live commentary, if not on the main local bbc stations then online. Why don't GMR do the same for us? Also, I can't listen to GMR online during the Saturday sport programme. I just get a message saying it's not available and I can't understand why.

Unfortunately we are too far down the pecking order to warrant live commentary....the only one we have ever done was the home game against Stevenage in 1997 when we had to win to stay up.Other BSP teams have Live Commentary because they are either the biggest( e.g. Oxford,Cambridge,York) team or one of the biggest teams (e.g. Exeter,Torquay,Aldershot,Woking,Crawley,Stevenage,Kidderminster,Burton etc) in the BBC Local Radio Station catchment area.As far as BBC Radio Manchester are concerned we are behind United,City,Bolton,Wigan,Oldham,Bury,Rochdale,Stockport & Macclesfield.We still do OK though from Radio Manchester & get a lot more coverage than Vics & Droylsden.

As far as not being able to get Radio Manchester online I am not sure why that is.I know that both USA Alty & Vienna Alty have been able to get it so I assumed that it was generally accessible.
