Getting anybody through the door, even if only to use the CSH, will benefit the club whether directly or indirectly.
It will get the name of Altrincham football club and what they can offer out to more people. This in turn could get more people through the turnstiles, spending money on entrance, food, drink etc.
It wasn't ideal hosting the 'yoga' on a match night but if it was already a long-standing prebooking, I'm sure the pros and cons of cancelling it were thought about. It didn't impact negatively on the night from my persepctive and I used the CSH for a drink pre, during and post game. The only negative comments appear to be from those who are choosing to stay away from home games, so didn't actually see the impact it had.
Unlikely, but there's a chance the partners of those doing the class didn't even know there was a game on. They will do now and may keep an eye out for future fixtures, they may even have come along to the game whilst their partner took the class if they were made aware the game was on.
As a part-time, unbankrolled, club every penny counts towards a push back up the league pyramid.
