Some short memories on here!

He played against us in that 2-1 home victory over Tranmere Rovers back in August....and endured an absolute nightmare!

Fast forward to circa 3:02 on the following AltyTV footage to see him conceding possession in the run-up to our second goal:

I can only hope that his poor performance that afternoon can be attributed to him having been 'rusty' after experiencing a lengthy spell out owing to injury.

Here's to far better things from him over the next few weeks.

A Tranmere wag said on another forum that his move here is "punishment for beating us earlier in the season"

Well, he barely put a foot wrong tonight and won everything in the air. Very solid debut

Impressed with his distribution.....and Scotty was back to the top of his game alongside him.

Early on, when it was quiet at the 'Chequers End' you could hear Holness organising colleagues.  Although not the tallest central defender, he had an impressive game, as did just about everyone who entered the field of play.  The extra energy demonstrated by Ginnelly and Margetts, in particular, lifted the team.
