Title: Plan B gets us out of a hole!!!!
Post by: distancetraveller on February 01, 2014, 07:40:55 PM
Plan A/Purpose. To get 3 points at Keys Park

Method .  Choose a swirling windy wet afternoon in Feb and lump the ball into the air with the wind blowing across the pitch in the forlorn hope that Billy Whizz Kyle Perry can get on the end of something.

Conclusion . Finally wait until deep into the second half before deciding Plan A has failed and decide to adopt Plan B and bring on two subs and attempt to play a passing game and keep the ball on the ground.

Summary. OK we went behind to a late goal but the lads then went on to show us that we are a very good passing time when we choose to be and got a late late equaliser

Why oh why do we not start games with plan B players and system. I'm sure we would be more successful and beat most teams in this league.

Have to agree, he should have started with what finished. Mwalsie was poor along with Perry. should have been off at halftime.

Pleased we got a point in the end, but if walshaw had kept running instead of going down he might have scored. Richman had our best chance in the first half but bottled it.

He had his legs taken from under him so couldn't keep running  ???

Not been there today but having seen the home game I would suggest that KP was picked to start and hopefully challenge the massive beast of a captain (Curtis something?) who is an excellent player.

Did Lawrie play on the right wing when he came on, or just behind the strikers?
