A bit of a shame. It seems that some of our youngsters hit a "brick wall" when they reach the senior squad. Being honest, I didnt think Lugsden suited Conference football but Hendley didnt get much of a look in. Thoughts on McFadden?
-
I think McFadden has done well in the last couple of games.
Sad to see Lee leave, his pace was always a threat. I hope he hasn't been tapped up and suddenly appears somewhere else.
He should have been more patient in my opinion.

McFadden hs started to impress me. Looks like a good 'un
Shame about Lee but its his decision afterall, think of how many Youth Players leave (He is only 19) and end up playing for someone further down the pyramid than us. Not many go on to better things.
Shame he couldn't have stayed around for another season, he has potential and as said he's only 19 and I can't see him breaking into too many first teams on Conference North or higher.
Should have been more patient

agree totally with the above, of all the youth teamers my highest hopes were with lee

I have to agree with the other posts.
I too feel he has been a bit impatient!! He certainly had potential.
I too think Pat has come on Leaps and bounds in the last couple of games.
Pity some of the other parts of the squad do not walk?

Don't forget there is always Ben Deegan, who may be on the verge of the first team squad soon. He sounds very promising.

A shame but unlike George Melling, Lee has some goals in him so may do enough to get noticed. My guess is that he will sign for Woodley Sports and get his name mentioned quite regularly when Jhn Ladilar does the ex player round ups.
Think he has ace which is his main asset but after a ankle injury, an those can really dog you believe me :P he hasn't got that sharpness back and the full time conference doesn't allow you to ease back into it. Funny really, I was just talking to Hughesy about this last night and bingo. He was good for 10 minutes at Cambridge though.
In fact, thats the thing for me, I think a good 2 or 3 games and goals in the conference against Cambridge, York, Burton etc will get the league clubs far more excitedb than 15 for Woodley or Bamber Bridge but there you go. :P

shame to see him leave i thought he looked like a good player. wish him the best of look for the future
