Title: 'Like A Hurricane'............it's 'Real Young & the Lazy Horse'
Post by: Brian Flynn on February 08, 2011, 08:07:29 AM
It isn't just on the pitch that things have been postponed at Moss Lane this season. The re-arranged 'Real Young & the Lazy Horse' Gig takes place in the Noel White Suite on Friday night....that's February 11th.Doors open at 7.00pm & the musical kick off is at 7.30pm.There will also be a support act.

Tickets are available priced at £4 & can be obtained from Brian Flynn at the Cheshire Senior Cup semi-final against Alsager on Tuesday or by calling him on 07860 561011.

The gig was originally scheduled for November, but had to be cancelled due to the lead singer, Simon Foster, suffering from flu & losing his voice.
Just like Alty, Simon is now in much better health & raring to go on Friday!!

Real Young & the Lazy Horse are a Neil Young tribute band & the other band members are:-

# Drums: Jim Fallon – a regular here at Moss Lane with his dad. Jim runs his own drum school and is an ace drummer – hits the skins real hard!!!

# Bass Guitar: Manuel Kochgruber – Mani moved from Switzerland when he was 6. He is a fantastic musician & plays in another band – The Replicants
# 2nd Guitar: Nigel Hennerley – Alty fan.....& gateman.......Nigel has been a Neil Young fan since the 70s. So when he was asked, last year, to rehearse with the band, he didn’t need to be asked twice.

So there it is- please come along, listen to some great music, have a beer or two and help support the club!

Rumour has it that Hughesy will be there just to check out that there is a real person called Mani Kochgruber!

If we were to sign a Scandinavian central defender who was as energetic as Justin Bowler, we'd have........

GREG YOUNG AND THE LAZY NORSE !

Must go now, time for my medication.
