Would you Groundshare with Vics until end of season?????

Ive kicked it off with a resounding YES. I never thought i'd say that!

Given the money it could generate, if they paid us up front, lets say a grand a match, it would be great for the club and keep us on an even keel for a few months. Plus if we open the bar up for them we will surely take all the bar profits too?

Then add in the fact that by some miracle they are still in existence after this we will forever be able to laugh at them for it. I truly hope they survive so we can laugh at them.

Good luck green slime!

Personally I'd gladly accept the arrangement, however I don't think the good ship Victoria is anywhere near close to being stable.

A resounding NO actually.

Not because I object completely but it really isn't feasable.

Nine of Altrincham's 12 league games between 27 January and 31 March are now at home

If you factor in Man Utd reserve games as well it just can't be done really. Vics next home game after Sat is Jan 31st at home to Woking (if vics are still in business after their winding up petition on the 28th) when we have no game. That could be a possibility, give them a couple of weeks to sort out their fixtures.

In all honesty though, there isn't enough space and playing that many games would jeopardise the Utd reserves which is more important in the long term. Maybe a couple more (wrexham or Torquay) but not other wise.

If you think that the reason MUFC reserves left last time was reportedly the state of the pitch how do you think that two Conference  sides playing on it will affect the surface and our chances of retaining Utd Reserves?

No -because of the pitch

I'm assuming Wincham is out because of Runcorn sharing - I beleive there is a rugby staduim in Widnes that would be available for Conference football.

Other than that:

The Barton Stadium?
Middlewich Athletic?

There'd be no problem with gates for the visits of the likes of Lewes, Eastbourne, Grays etc

Or further afield:

Moss Rose
Deva Stadium

I have voted no because I fear it could jeopardise our future Man utd games.

However really Utd should approve of our helping out vics especially after many alty fans adivsed Utd of the problem with associating with Mr Connett....so assuming Utd are Ok I would actually vote yes, we should accept the pitch may suffer but it should only be until the end of the season at which time Northwich should move into wincham park and runcorn should share with warrington.

We wouldn't have them at our ground, we are to proud of our pitch to allow it..

Rather see them go bust than ruin our very nice stretch of turf..

You didn't mind Chester sharing your ground in the early 90's. If Macc find themselves in a similar situation you better hope the clubs don't have a similar attitude to yourself.

Its still a yes for me. Its only until the end of the season and the pressure is on Vics to re-arrange fixtures not us or United reserves. One or two games would see pretty low crowds for vics, but a more regular thing would probably see the crowds rise a bit and more money through the bar for alty.

As for the pitch, its a different pitch to the one that United reserves werent happy with last time. Didnt we do a shed load of drainage work as a result? I think it would stand up to it with a bit of TLC.

First of all, a MASSIVE THANK YOU for tomorrow.
PC is about to crash- so just glanced through the comments- it`s highly reasonable to be concerned about your pitch with- I dunno 30-odd games to stage potentially in a dozen weeks.
Should the VS be unplayable/ out-of-bounds, then we would of course be grateful to make it to the end of the season. As far as I`m concerned we`ve got to keep it as local as possible - esp mid-week. Therefore, personally I`m happy to move about. However, I`m not sure whether the BSP will want a single arrangement in place??? - Anyone in the know there?
Anyway, ta muchly and should you lot ever get `Stiftered` like this, I hope NVFC will be around to reciprocate.

Just how many faces have you got, Dan?
Are you Macc`s answer to MadMat (by the way no-one at Vics knows who that embarrassment is- prob`ly some off-shore stirrer.

After watching whats going on at the Vics im sure im not on my own in wishing you all good luck in your fight to keep your club...

We have had some good battles in previous years and without wanting to play you again, unless you did ever get promoted, Northwich is a club with a good non-league background and holds memories for us in our encounters, Wembley 1996 being the main one for me...

Although Alty are doing a very good deed, don't forget to accidently p$ss on the terraces...

Regards...
