With most of the squad getting back to fitness after the enforced break, do we really need anyone other than to bolster the squad?

Personally I dont think we do, but the Board and GH might think otherwise, especially if any players are to leave during this window.

I heard a rumour that we have no money for new signings as we have had no home games for weeks, we have no home game for weeks and we have lost approx £50k in TV money that we were expecting.

That's just a rumour I've heard though I've no idea if it's true..we may have millions for a january splurge on top players like Daryl Clare etc......................I think it more likely our prudence will continue and Alty will emerge through this crisis thanks to our unique financial position we are better placed than most to survive the credit crunch income freeze (new buzz words I've invented)

we have one on tuesday (and yes i know "it's only" the Cheshire Senior Cup)  but im sure the club could do with as many people as possible showing up and putting money into the bar/ snack facilitys plus the more people through the turnstiles the more money the club will get after the split with Witton.

Maybe if Kaka does sign for City(though i doubt he will) maybe he could give ONE weeks wages to Alty,that would last us for years.
