Tough one to predict, they're on decent form but that's where we tend to play with less pressure.

Would take a point right now, but I firmly believe we're capable of picking up another win.

It’s Tuesday night, don’t panic. I bought the dover stream at 2:50 on Saturday and all was fine

I must admit, I didn't have any problems with the Dover stream 5 minutes before kick-off either.

Agreed, but that said Wealdstone have turned in some good results recently.

We do pretty well against teams on good form, to be honest - I feel more nervous playing teams that have been battered numerous games in a row!

Why not Wealdstone (A)?!

Slated for next April, not exactly a date for the diary, we might as well save bigger games just in case we're allowed in at a later date.

Let's get it played.
From our point of view travelling on a Saturday much more convenient with us being part time. Suppose they might argue that if crowds, in some form, are allowed by then they’d miss gate receipts.

True, it definitely suits us more than it suits them - but then again, I'm sure they'd rather get a game played, and we'd hardly be one of their bumper games either.

Worth asking the question.

Called it  :)

Well done to the clubs for getting it on.

55 is my target. Beat half the teams at home and draw the rest. Draw half away and lose the rest. 55 points.

On that basis we should be on 4 pts so far so nicely ahead of target

That's a good way of looking at it - and 55 points in our first season back at this level is a reasonable target.

I'm reluctant to set any higher targets than that - remember when Sinnott said something daft like he wanted to score 20 more and concede 20 less - a 40 goal swing?!

Well ground out win, we played some really nice stuff on a sticky pitch with some firm passing and some great moves that culminated in the goal we scored.

Any team that does their research on us knows they need to press us high, which is where we struggle - letting us have the ball in our own half is great for us.

Fylde game (and one half of Notts) aside, I think we've defended really resolutely, which should be applauded.

Shame we can't go again next weekend, surely we can contact another team that are out of the Cup and scheduled to play us midweek at some point.

Played for Leek in the Trophy yesterday according to BBC Sport website

Owns a pub in Cheddleton, didn't know that.

Surely we could get him in on a short-term deal?!

I think he'll find a place for Peers, to be honest.

The weather forecast looks atrocious for mid-afternoon in Dover - could be another 0-0 washout like Weymouth.

How long have we had trouble scoring from Pens on a regular basis i mean

Ever since Warren Peyton missed that pen against Luton I've never felt confident when we've taken them (with the exception of Durrell).

This is devastating news - one of our few automatic starters, I'm sure Parky will be concerned about not being able to rotate Hannigan and Sutton around.

Another Crewe loan? Sass-Davies for example?

                Thompson

Senior  Hannigan   Sutton    White

                     Moult

 Mooney  Kosylo      Hancock   Ceesay

                  Adarabioyo

_

As long as Kossy and Hancks are disciplined enough, it could work.

Could get Hanks on the ball a bit more too, which is probably what he needs right now. Decent enough idea.

the hysteria after the Fylde game - after 2 weeks of isolation and bugger all training - was a bit much. Yes we probably won't trouble the top half of the table but I think we'll be OK.

Agreed

We threw away 16k,  the same anmount we worked so hard to raise in the early months of testing.

I think the phrase "threw away" is an insult to our (part-time) lads that are really going to be stretching themselves for us this season.

Hardly surprising that he takes a pop at Fylde, either.
