I think what Romeo 48 is trying to say is how much did Sinnott actually know about Higginbotham signing? Did the chairman just ring him and tell him or was he actually involved in the signing?

Don't think there is even a story here to be honest. Grahame Rowley did the picture and statement with reeves and Walshaw.

Its a bit of a unique situation when a player performing well in the league above wants to join you.  Add in the fact he is a fan and its even more unique.

It will have been thoroughly discussed and I would imagine it would have taken about a minute to say yes.

Any manager in this league would take Danny proving the chairman said it could be done. I'm sure of it.

If he wasn't keen on him he wouldn't have moved the whole team round for him as well, sure he could cope with some localised grumbling if he had started on the bench v Leamington.

I think you're misunderstanding Eck. Im sure Sinnott is delighted to have Higgy at his disposal. Im just not sure he had much to do with his signing.
