Bradford's win at FCUM leaves us rock bottom. The result at Lincoln reads reasonably well, but what I can glean from the match day updates would seem to indicate that the scoreline flattered us. We have a long way to go.

Our season does indeed start right now, no shirkers now,  its time to stand up and be counted. It will be interesting to read what the loyal travelling fans thought of todays performance,

The second half today was a proper Alty performance. If we can get stuck in - get the confidence back - get a bit more organised - we might just stay up.

Because I was busy this morning I couldn't get to Lincoln, so I went to the FCUM v BPA match, and I have to say that FCUM made Bradford look every bit as good as we did (this is a team that lost at home to the dreadful Stalybridge between their 2 away wins). They cannot defend to save their lives, and to be honest I would back us (yes, even us) to beat them on today's performance. Roll on the festive season!
