"Kendal Town have parted company with manager Lee Ashcroft.

He’s left to take over at Northwich Victoria, who play in the division below the Mintcakes in the Evo Stik Division 1 South.

Dave Foster takes caretaker charge.

Ashcroft – who had been at Parkside Road since 2004 – leaves with the club just one point above the relegation zone."

That bits a good omen  ;)

Having appointed Lee Ashcroft of Kendal Town as their new manager, Northwich Victoria have now reportedly signed seven of Kendal's players, too. They are Jack Duggan, Alex Taylor, Danny Wisdom, Kevin Leadbetter, Scott Harries, Joe Bunney and Ian Kilford


Is this a takeover?  ;)
