A fiver will return about 45 quid including stake depending which bookies you go to.

I really fancy Portugal this year.  No-one is tiping them which means I know something else, or nothing.  Probably the later.

I'm trying to decide whether France are as sh*t as would first appear. Needing a jammy handball to see you through via the playoffs against an Ireland side containing players such as Paul McShane is not good. Nor is losing a warm-up game to China. Uruguay @ 11/4 does look like value, though I can't say I know many of their players.

Fancy a draw in the opener between SA and Mexico. SA don't score too many, Mexico can't defend, I'll say 1-1.

Had Mexico to win that. Silly boy!

Ive got France to win 2-1, or 2-2 and Malouda to score.

You wouldnt believe how down everyone is here on the national team, completely written off. I happen to think if they can get a bit of momentum they'll go to the semis. But Ive got Holland to win it too, each way mind.

I think the Koreans will win that one. Greece are workmanlike at best.

Last week I did a seven match perm on the opening games. Serbia to beat Ghana I'm beginning to regret, but I did 5 draws including both games yesterday, and S.Korea v Greece.
