Cm is fine

There's no way it's fine, I'd say we need some better quality in there.

Really - in our current squad you'd bench Moult or Goodall?

I sort of agree that the cm situation is 'less bad' than the defensive and forward situations, but I've felt all season that Goodall and Moult are essentially the same player. They have been two of our better performers, but neither could be described as an energetic, box-to-box midfielder. I had hoped that Jamie Menagh would take Simon Richman's position in that respect, but sadly it wasn't to be. Let's hope JH has someone in mind.

No, absolutely not, in our current squad. But I'm saying we need more quality from elsewhere not Charlie Joyce.

I thought that's what you meant, I was meaning surely there are other areas that need fixing ahead of CM and we can't fix all of them!

Hard to say with so many players lacking fitness and so much low confidence but i would guess at
Building for now around
Deasy and dawber
Hall, hannigan, cyrus, patterson, densmore
Richman, moult, goodall, cain, lynch, miller
Reeves, lawrie, sinclair

Loan players to return
Others to go but loan out heathcote and billy hc.

Need
Left back
Centre mid
Winger
Forward

More new faces inevitable if u look what Harvey did at Halifax.

I think to become a mid table side about 4 signings,if we plan to get promoted probably 7 or 8

that should be centre back sorted - Hannigan and Cyrus first choice with Hall and Heathcote as cover / pushing Cyrus for a start

Keeper is sorted, RB is fine with Patterson / Densmore

Sorry to break the following two things to you but

1. Cyrus is not good enough at the moment and in this situation. Lots of attributes and I like him but rash challenge for county's first, dragged woeful out of position for their second, roasted against Curzon last week and I'm afraid looks shaky against any decent forwards. Hall and Hannigan once he's fit.

2. Why do people keep including Densmore in all of this. I think he's f**ked but if he isn't when exactly do you think he's going to be fit and ready for action? I'd be amazed if it's this side of Xmas!

Finally, someone sees the light about Cyrus. He's not as good as people are making out. Hopefully, with time, he will improve though.

Was very well regarded at Guiseley; happy enough to have him back at this point.
