Kenny has been made surplus to requirements at cambridge united due to cost cutting apparently. Should Graham Barrow take up the role as reserve team manager at Wigan Athletic I would like to see Kenny take GB's place here as assistant manager to Graham Heathcote,I'm sure Kenny would be interested in such a role.
-
I'll second that!
-
Ditto :)
-
SIGN HIM UP!
-
My favourite Alty player ever....would be amazing to have him around. A real winner.
-
Says in tonights MEN that Barrow is '90% going to Wigan' according to GH,but has a few replacements lined up.Wouldn't be surprised at all if Ken was one of them (God,why did I miss all the undoubted Alty legends play except Coburn and Little!!)
-
Just the prospect of welcoming Ken McKenna back to Alty in any capacity is exciting beyond all belief!
Leg-end!
-
Living close to Llansantfraid/ Oswestry I often saw Ken Mckenna's team when Alty were in London etc. Always slick flowing football and toughness when required, what an coup he'd be.
-
But can we afford him?
-
If GB is on an annual contract, then we'll get compensation, which will help.
-
Please, please, please let me get Ken McKenna this time......

Is there something you're not telling us big man? I do hope this doesn't involve gentle nibbling of the ear.

I'd happily nibble to get Ken at this club, it would secure quality management for years to come.
-
I too will nibble for Ken - where do I gnaw?

Interesting appointment if it was to be McKenna. He played a very low-key role as United's chief scout. In fact, 99% of our fanbase didn't realise he was chief scout until he was released!
-
He was also on your bench at the Stevenage away leg of your semi final. He would also have been a permanent appointment had you been promoted. FACT!
