Congratulations Jonathan, always good to see an Alty fan doing well.  Saw him at Vauxhall with his kids this season so he has also experienced some lows in the last 12 months as well.

Just read that Mark Chapman is going to present MOTD 2.  Not as big a fan but does give us a mention now and again:

No he doesn't. He grew up in Sale as it says. It doesn't say he lived in Altrincham at all until living in Hale now  ::)

Pleased for him. Excellent presenter and asks more probing questions than Lineker or Colin Murray. Love his double act with Robbie Savage.

I can also annoy Jennifer's Mum every Sunday now by saying, "He went to my school!"

I find Mark Chapmans voice a bit monotonous.  Lineker was dreadful when he started out do with a bit of coaching I think he can improve.  As for Savage - just a divvy with hair.
