Duly signed and loaned to a lower-level club in the shape of Macclesfield Town (well played there, John Edwards):

I bet John Edwards has been waiting for years to write that ;D
-
Welcome and good luck
FFS Mac of all clubs
-
Sounds a very promising signing: good luck at Alty James...and stay away from those sheep!
-
Gotta love the fact Macc are our feeder club these days.
Smart signing on the face of it - good luck James.
-
Fantastic to see the club planning for the future. Hope James gets some game time and comes back in the new year ready to make a real name for himself with us! Good luck and welcome!
Don't want to be a killjoy but we also need a striker who's ready to go now.

I think we're banking on Dinanga making the position his own, with Peers in backup and possibly Hancock on occasion too.
I'm sure we'll dip into the loan market again if it doesn't stick.

Still have the A-Jay Leitch-Smith signing to be announced yet😉. If he can restore his form then should be decent, we hope.
-
I think Berry might have been the signing which was talked about and Oneedham is correct about the striker situation.
Probably there's been moves behind the scenes to bring someone in which have not come to fruition for whatever reason.

Still being told that Leitch-Smith is a done deal. No idea why we are taking so long to announce? Maybe he has been injured and they want to show his quality in a friendly before announcing as I am sure questions will be asked after only a 45 min show ???

The lad seems to have some pedigree so I hope this isn't another Lewis Salmon and we actually get to see him play before he gets snapped up by a bigger club
-
Good news. Well done James and welcome. Work hard at Macc and come back a better player.

My dog had some pedigree, chum!
-
Ha that gave me some paws for thought ;) SBL
-
I hop this isn't going to LEAD to a long series of TERRI(ER)BLE puns.....
-
As Larry Grayson would say: "Shut that Labra-door!"
-
He started & by all accounts had an excellent game today as Macclesfield Town beat Burscuff 4-0 in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup, I think we come into it in five rounds time so well done to the plucky Silkmen.
-
Not seen him play but from what I have heard and clips watched I just have a gut feeling this lad will break into the first team before Christmas.
Can you recall a player out on loan at any point?

I think it depends on the terms of the loan. We've certainly had loanees recalled by their parent clubs in the psst
