In the CSC final programme, there was a picture of Alty's cup winning team of 1905.
This was remarkable for two reasons.
Firstly, in the back row at the extreme left we have the first recorded photograph of a behatted youthful George Heslop.
Secondly, third from the right on the back row is none other than Jeff Johnson!

Jeff Johnson must have signed from Aston Villa because he was in their line-up for the 1897 League Championship team (3rd from left, front row)
