Marshall,Cavangh,Griffin,brilliant today,great 3pts, were up an running lads,cheered me head off today for the lads. Even Bristol were suprised how good we were.MAN O T MATCH WAS MARSHALL.NOTHIN GOT PAST HIM TODAY.Well done everyone.Bring on Southport c u there.

A bit harsh on Griffin who had a hard job competing for headers against players about 6 ins taller than him.

He's got several areas of deficiency but is the best at the club in that position at the moment so let's get behind him - especially when he's not only trying his best but doing a decent job!

Warren Peyton. Can't agree with your assessment of Adam Griffin. He had a decent game.

There were a number of occasions this afternoon when, despite giving away a significant amount of height, he won headers at the back post to prevent a direct attempt on goal.

I agree that his main crime seems to be that he is not Matt Doughty (who incidentally was not released but chose to leave so how that can be Adam Griffin's fault escapes me)

I cant make my mind up on Griffin.

Theres time when I think he has the potential to be a brilliant LB. But then some time he plays awful balls and makes silly errors.

He also doesnt get beyond clee nearly enough. He has the legs, and it means nicky has more space to create chances.

None of which applied today. I thought he ran Marshall close for MOM.....but every one of the lads played well this afternoon.

I was saying in the pub before game that griffin seems to get a lot of stick despite the goals not really coming from his side and much as I thought buzz was a class act a few years back if we kept him and didn't bring in griffin we wouldn't be in this leauge
