Point taken Jimmy, however I would venture to suggest that me asking him to remove the 'sh*t' and the 'crap' from his vocabulary due to the proximity of young children (Rightly or wrongly I'd not have taken this action had he been for example in the Golf Road end or amongst the singers) is somewhat different to the totally incorrect accusation that he had called Bushell a cnut.

Also, as my earlier post tries to point out, whatever the provocation may or may not have been the response was totally unacceptable.

Sorry to fall out over this but i was stood next to the target of Bushell's outburst having just reminded him to mind his language as there were young Children about.

At no point did he call Bush that, in fact his comments were very much as stated earlier, you're going the wrong way we're playing in red today.. that sort of thing.

Bush was out of order, we've had better players who've not reacted like that, we've had worse players, who got more grief (Jason Gallagher being one of our friends favourite targets in the past) and they've not reacted like that. And I can well remember the furore which followed when an opposition player gave some of our  fans a mouthful.

Going Back a wee while JR rewired my parents shop and flat ably assisted by Kevin Hawkins whom I seem to recall kept getting sent under floorboards and into cupboards and small spaces.

JR also checked out the wiring on my house when I bought it

Can I ask if it would be at all possible to move the quiz night away from a Thursday?

Everywhere seems to have their quizzes on a Thursday and I'm sure you'd attract many more potential punters if you weren't in competition

Ta! :D

Well wont he be in Aus anyhow watching the Test - what he'll save the taxpayer in deportation costs will more than pay his parking fine! ;D

As I said earlier I'm sure I've read that a condition of them signing for us was that they would be contract players so it's not a matter of us looking at them and deciding - they'd have signed elsewhere

I seem to recall hearing that we had been obliged to offer both these players, together with Joe O'Neill and Steve Bushell contracts otherwise they would not have signed for us, so it seems that the answer to your question Sir Cult is yes

No Mr Cult - It's Jon Bon Jovi and as we all know Ms Locklear was married to a Mr Richard Sambora.

Mr B-J having been married to his wife for something in the region of a quarter century.

May I respectfully request that you consult Mrs Cult on matters such as this, I feel sure that she will respond in a manner becoming the question.  ::) ::)

Hope you are soon restored to match fitness

Regards

My memory is fine, as I think you'll notice that Saturdays Ref is Mr A L Halliday and not Steve Cummins.

Only a minor point I know, but probably quite important really in the bigger scheme of things

Hi,

It won't be the Referees 5th outing of the season  all told, just his 5th at Conference National level.

He'll have reffed on the FA Premier reserve League and in other competitions as well as being a National List Assistant and will have been assessed on most if not all of his previous performances
I think we had him last season and he was generally okay from memory
