Reading one of the comments on the Burton match thread, have we got cover for left back?

Matt Doughty is good, but what if he is injured - we have direct cover for every over position, but I'm not sure about left back.

It took us years to get one left back, let alone "cover" for that position!  ;D

My son is a tidy two footed left back.........downside is he's 13. One for the future although he thinks he'll play for Fulham....fat chance, he's not Norwegian.

With regard to the other side of the field, the immense midfield talent of Shaun Densmore playing right back was a waste of time yesterday, I hope this was a mere experiment, he looked like a fish out of water playing there.

Haha, how did you find that? He's good, better than I was, and you too  ;), but not good enough to be anything special. He could play Sunday league stuff if he keeps going, wiry and small but no fear and gets stuck in. If Kingy was still in charge.......

Totally agree, I spotted it 5 mins into the match to be honest.

Whilst I agree Shaun is good in midfield, I have to say I was a fan of 5-4-1/3-4-3 in which Shaun was a right wing-back. He had lots of chances to push forward, but when required to defend he could make the tackles.

Also, with Doughty pushed on to left wing-back, we don't need a left-winger. I'm all for giving Clee a chance, but it seems a shame to leave out two of Johnson, Little, Senior and Denham. We could play three of them up top. If in any particular game it isn't working, then Clee could come on and we'd revert to 4-4-2.
