Please can someone clarify something for me - maths was never a strong point.

If the price of entry next season for standing is £14 and seating £15 then why is the difference between a standing season ticket  and a seating season ticket £40 when there are 23 home games?

Probably because prices aren't set by a formula and can't be explained by mathematics.
