You may be right but I'm guessing purely at a departure announcement, after all has the job been advertised and if so under cover has anyone been interviewed? Under Tolson's nose. No club would operate like that surely?

well it hasn't been advertised and the board have already confirmed they were doing interviews last week

Interviews were conducted last week and Tolson was one of the applicants.

I see what you're saying here but I think that the routine in football at all levels is that clubs get unsolicited applications whenever there's a sniff of a vacancy. You'd hope that whoever we get will be aware of our situation and the non-league scene in general so no advert is required.
