When it looked like they might go pop at the end of last season, I believe the supporters trust (who own the trading name 'Portsmouth Football Club Limited') were in discussion with the conference authorities about reforming in the BSP playing at Havant & Waterlooville's ground (where their reserve team played until disbanded this year).
The supporters trust think that if the reformed and played at H&W they'd get 5,000 to 10,000 fans and so were saying that no league below the BSP would be able to handle those numbers.

If it happens now though I can't see how they'd reform before next season.

I'm doubtful they'll actually go bust. It would teach everyone a lesson though...

You are right but no one would learn from it.

Everyone in the game prefers over-ambitious to unambitious.

a major club will fold soon.  it is all but inevitable. I mean a prem or a championship club and I mean this season or in the summer of 2011. I also beleive that once one goes there will be a few following.  Mr. Goodwin, we owe you big style for sorting the finances out.

It won't be Liverpool this time, my god it was close though.

With United in 3 times more sh*t (debt) ... who knows ...it could be them.

At least FC United will have a 5 year start on them ha ha
