superb clinical performance.
Don't care who we meet in the play off's.
If we can play like that, we can beat anyone.

Predictable and probably fair reaction from Hailfax fans i.e. we played a fringe team and lost - big deal we can beat Guiseley. They do however point out they were playing Alty's 'first team' - more pertinently it's the only one we've got - I bet Lee would love to rest 6,7, or 8 first choice palyers and still field a team of BSN standard. I would respectfully suggest that whichever of the full strength play-off sides we played second half would've got a bit of a chasing.

Hope that second goal looks as good on Alty TV as I thought on the night.  The first was non to shabby either.

We have played some lovely stuff season at times.

First half was like a training game, then we raised our game enough to secure the victory. Do not remember Stu having a save to make. Best team on the night won. End of, that puts them under a bit of pressure if they want 4th.

Come on you Robins

Despite the good news of winning and maybe now getting Brackley, it wasnt all rosy. Rodgers, Boshell and Clee all got injuries, not sure yet how minor?

Clee seems to spend 90% of his time injured.

Me and the boy Jacobs on the way home were talking about who to rest on Saturday. He wants Watmore to start to get his sharpness, while I said Clee does struggle with niggly things, so I would definately rest him regardless. I'd only make 3 or 4 changes max.

We dont have enough players to rest hardly anyone and Droylsden will just kick us off the pitch so best if they all wear additional padding like rugby lge teams do  :D :D

I don't think that they all came off because of injury though did they? It looked tactical to me once we had gone 1-0 up to take Boshell off so he didnt take an unnecessary knock as we may have needed him for the playoff semi against Brackley. I think the same was true for Rodgers, possibly with Lee thinking about playing a combination of Lacey and Moult on Saturday against Droylesden and seeing how it worked last night.

And it didn't look like Nicky was carrying a knock, but you can tell he was knackered after having a good game for 70 minutes or so when he was replaced by Ryan Brooke.

Probably keep our cards a bit closer to our chest to be honest as well.
