A very entertaining, accurate & insightful missive.......with one exception-your view on our performance-we really weren't awful!
Burton played some great stuff at times & could have scored a hatful, but we also had a lot of chances & for the majority of the game I felt that we had a very decent chance of getting something.Colin Little is a legend at Altrincham but he has been out of sorts recently & was nowhere near our best player on Friday in any way (for a start he missed two gilt edged chances that he would normally have buried).Apart from England's Number 1 who pulled off some superb saves,I thought our best player on the night was Little's strike partner Joe O' Neill who had a great game.

I enjoyed reading your excellent report though.....&  the one last week on Gainsborough v Droylsden.

Regards
Brian

Your report was excellent and reasonably accurate, but we are a much better team at home and with several 'winnable' home games left this season, we may yet prove you wrong and stay up...
