It is amazing what passion, heart and grit can achieve. Some of the challenges were awesome.  Over to you lads and good luck for Sunday. Get stuck in from the off!

Did the BBC script that?

Superb battling performance from Warrington, bit of everything in that game.

Always good to get the coupon down on Friday night, thought I was in on both teams to score when they went 1-0 up.

I enjoyed the match, apart from the condescending "plasterer" and "gardener" sh*te and the "that's what it means to them" about the crowd, 87.3% of whom were attending their first and probably last Warrington Town game.  Humbug.

Cmon Alty get at them tomorrow from the off and we will win.

PS Reevesie is a better plasterer than that guy at Warrington  ;)

Actually, it's quite interesting reading what the players do for a living. I remember feeling sorry for Mick Farrelly all those years ago, because he was listed as "unemployed"

if we draw them ( providing we play with the same passion) and beat blyth will they change it to the ruby league stadium.  we could take the best part of a  thousand . several less  than were at the cheshire senior cup game when penalties went on for ever.
please stattos remind me of the final score

Tuesday, 1st March 1988

Alty...2  Warrington Town...2

Both sides took nine penalties each in the shoot-out with Alty finally winning 8-7.

A bizarre evening.

An absolutely fantastic performance from Warrington, and they showed how to stop a league team by closing down players quickly and not giving them time on the ball. A great advert for non-league teams.
