A couple of questions from the Trafford match
« on: July 19, 2007, 10:25:09 PM »

"Alty's winner came in the second half from Stephen Moores, another trialist, from Curzon Ashton" Is he the bloke who was knocking goals in  for fun for Curzon Ashton last season?
What position was Cavell Coo playing? How did he do?
If Coo wasn't left back, who was and was he good?
How were any of the other triallists?

Pat McFadd is not a left back. Moore was quiet but took his goal well. Berkeley, Senior, Baguley and Potts were lively. Berkely took his goal very well. The lad Adam Walker on the left wing was good, possibly not quite Conf standard tho. Acko will be disappointed with the goal conceded.

Trafford, lovely club and ground.

Berkeley's goal was very gd abd well taken to. Not a bad proformance from both sides. The lads playin from Altys youth/ reserve  team (not quite sure) looked good and promicing players for the future.

Not a bad run out and nice to see some of the trialists etc.

Cavell Coo looked very good to me - he can run all day if nothing else, doesnt look like a left back though as very right footed. thought he was very effective breaking things down in the centre of the park.

Steve Moore looked impressive always a threat and took his goal well. I dont think hes the sort of player who is a tireless workhouse but got in good positions and made intelligent runs. had a couple of other close efforts. definately worth a run in the other friendlies certainly showed more than berkley and senior.

berkley scored a nice goal but apart from that didnt do alot. good run out for senior, baggley was tidy but didnt really penatrate, not sure about mcfadden at left back! walker is very very quick but not first team level yet maybe one for the future. deegan at centre half was solid, big and strong for a young lad.

Overall id like to see Coo and Moore given a full game against higher league opposition.

I thought trafford were a useful side, i assume it was their first team in the first half then they made alot of changes. Certainly Ged has the well organised, the 2 centre halves looked solid and was especially impressed by their right winger.
