Cavell Coo - left back
« on: July 08, 2007, 02:49:14 PM »

Former Crewe player, played against Gregorians yesterday,Hope to see more of him against Bury on tuesday.

Manchester born Coo is a product of the Crewe Academy and was part of the Under-18 side which reached the Semi-Finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2004

Coo made his first team breakthrough for the Alex last season, just a few months after turning professional with the club, when he featured as a substitute in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Rochdale at Spotland. He has also been on the first team bench several times.

I hope Cavell had a 'stinker' yesterday.............well at least during the part of the game that Dave Pace managed to witness

You didn't see Pacey offering any of our youngsters the use of the penthouse above the Butchers did you ?

I hope this guy can offer us an alternative to WP at left back - hopefully he will paly Tues

Anyone know what happened to him at Crewe? A few searches on our friend Google suggests he is/was destined for a bright future as the latest Crewe youngster. Can apparently play either right or left back. Did he look the part on Saturday? Could be a steal.
