I'd rather watch Droylsden or Leicester v Forest than the Spanish game.

I dont think currently, there is a more pure form of the game being played at this level, than there is in Spain. I was at Barcelona v Valencia in the Nou Camp last month...and even as a lack lustre offering by their standards...it was still immense. (If i recall, something like 70% of players were eligible for the Spanish national side as well.) Puts us to shame.

I suppose it's all a matter of opinion. I know my Dad follows all the European leagues but i have no interest in them.

Spain has 23,995 UEFA qualified coaches. England has 2,769. Which is why the standard in the country is gash.

The bet of the day was Barcelona to win with the handicap of a goal start to Real. 11-4, and I wish I'd had more to put on it than the tenner that won me £27.50 !
