yeah remember  Mr Thomas teaching tech drawing and pe (those cross country runs in winter were not a pleasant memory) always wearing his tracksuit round school ..not sure but we used to call him John Thomas or JT (not sure if this was his true first name or just hilarious teenage humour!) he was  a pretty good teacher...cant remember a Mr Smith.....my geography teacher was some little battleaxe of a woman whos name escapes me ....
