Free Money from Bet365
« on: April 29, 2012, 08:38:17 PM »

Apologies for the simple language, I wrote this out for some friends that have no knowledge of how to bet.

Ok so here's how to get some free cash from bet 365.

As you can see at the top of the Bet 365 website (www.bet365.com) they have a promotion where if you place a bet on the Manchester derby they will give you a free bet in play (a bet placed when the game has kicked off) up to the value of £50.

So to get a guaranteed return you have to do the following.

Deposit £50 into your Bet 365 account.

Put £50 on Manchester City to win at 6/5. This will return you £110 (£60 win plus your original stake back).

Make an account with Stan James Bookmakers and deposit £30.

Put a £30 bet on Manchester United to win at 5/2. This will return you £105 (£75 plus your original stake back).

Now, just wait until the game starts and back the draw straight away, the price is likely to be the same as it is now (12/5).

Put a £50 bet on the draw at 12/5. This will return you £120 (£70 plus your original stake back).

The way the promotion works is that if this bet loses you will get your stake back, and if your bet wins you will also get your stake back. So whatever happens you will get this £50 back in your account.

So the over all picture looks like this:

You will have put £80 in total to cover all the bets.

If City win you will get £110 back, this will give you a £30 profit.
If United win you will get £105 back, this will give you a £25 profit.
If the game is a draw you will get £120 back, this will give you a £40 profit.

So at best you will be £40 better off and at worst £25.

Are there any further T&C's with these though? I know with WillHill's 'free' bet on Roulette that you have to make another £70 to return your free bet money

I don't think that there are any terms and conditions like the one you describe above.

There is this ominous looking caveat though:

Where any term of the offer or promotion is breached or there is any evidence of a series of bets placed by a customer or group of customers, which due to a deposit bonus, enhanced payments, free bets or any other promotional offer results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, bet365 reserves the right to reclaim the bonus element of such offers and in their absolute discretion either settle bets at the correct odds, void the free bets or void any bet funded by the deposit bonus. In addition bet365 reserve the right to levy an administration charge on the customer up to the value of the deposit bonus, free bet or additional payment to cover administrative costs. We further reserve the right to ask any customer to provide sufficient documentation for us to be satisfied in our absolute discretion as to the customer's identity prior to us crediting any bonus, free bet or offer to their account.

However, seeing as one of the bets is with Stan James I'm not sure how they can know for sure what they're up to.

But as with all these things bookies can be bastards sometimes, so it's your own risk. My guess is that you will be ok as long as you don't put all the bets on with Bet365.

And specifically Stan James or is that just the best odds?

Stan James just had the best odds on United.

There's not much in it though so use whichever account you have active if you can't be bothered opening one with Stan James.

I got sent that offer but just be careful - sometimes they deduct some of the stake ie the free 50 quid bit and secondly they sometimes insist you bet through your winnings before allowing you  to withdraw . I got seen off by Bet365 a while back using one of there free bet offers - I dont touch them these days

Just to let anyone know who is bothered it all worked perfectly, £27.50 up for no risk.

If I see any more of these I'll post them.
